COMMUNITY SERVICES

Community Services meets the 3rd Thursday of each month 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to work on Quilts.  All members are invited and welcome to attend to work on the quilts. Quilts of all sizes are made that are distributed to the community as needed.

Community Services has three ongoing projects for the Guild to participate in -- Making Baby Quilts for the hospital, making lap quilts for the VA Hospital and Hospice Center in Spokane, and collecting school supplies for the local schools.

Rural Resources are in need of twin-sized quilts to cover the Shelter's beds.

Ladies Aux. of the VFW donated one of our quilts to a local veteran who is living in one of our local nursing homes.

Don't forget to continue to save Box Tops 4 Education coupons. The schools use these coupons for much needed supplies during the school term. One elementary school has purchased musical instruments with these coupons.
