Community Services meets the 3rd Thursday of each month 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to work on Quilts. All members are invited and welcome to attend to work on the quilts. Quilts of all sizes are made that are distributed to the community as needed.
Community Services has three ongoing projects for the Guild to participate in -- Making Baby Quilts for the hospital, making lap quilts for the VA Hospital and Hospice Center in Spokane, and collecting school supplies for the local schools.
Judy Galli is working on items for the Silent Auction at the Quilt Show. She can always use a helping hand, either at the Community Services meeting, or you can call her to arrange something else.
Rural Resources are in need of twin-sized quilts to cover the Shelter's beds.
Ladies Aux. of the VFW donated one of our quilts to a local veteran who is living in one of our local nursing homes.
Don't forget to continue to save Box Tops 4 Education coupons. The schools use these coupons for much needed supplies during the school term. One elementary school has purchased musical instruments with these coupons.
To participate in a Mini Group, you must be a Guild Member. Any Guild Member can start a Mini Group. See Bev if you wish to start one.
Mystery Group meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. For more info, call Bev.
Machine Embroidery Group meets the first Tuesday of the month from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. For more info, contact Bev or Janice.
Exterior Meetings:Quilters Too– meets the fourth Monday of the month at the Colville Eagles on Wynne Street. Lunch is at 11am meeting/ show and tell at noon.
Quilters and Wannabees– meet the second Wednesday at the Chewelah Casino, Smith road, off Hwy. 395 in Chewelah Lunch is at 11am followed by show and tell.
Sew Fun Day- held the second Thursday of the month at the Colville HUB, 231 W Elep Ave. 10:00 to 3:00 To reserve a lunch contact the HUB at 509-675-1479. For more info, contact Ann Miller.

Spring Sew On & Sew Forth- Saturday, June 23, 9:00-3:00, fee: $5.00 There will be a sale table, free table, games and door prizes. It's Brown Bag, but Guild will supply soda, coffee, tea, water and some snacks. Don't forget to bring 2-4 (or more) medium and dark value blue or green fabric strips 2 1/2" by WOF for the Charity Log Cabin Block that will be donated to Community Service Group.

Colville Piecemakers Quilt Show- September 14 and 15. Quilt Show entry forms are due August 1. If you didn't receive an e-mail copy call Rette Bidstrup. At each Quilt Show, we have a table selling donated magazines and books, so start collecting those books and magazines you'll never use. Contact Ginny Denton if you have items to donate.
